Crossroads

#patpatforever

My grandparents' memorial was this weekend- we were supposed to leave Saturday morning for Fort Bragg, which is precisely when I woke up with a giant headache and deep, full body aches, so figured I should take a test before going to a gathering... I guess I'm glad I did, but the timing could not be more painful. Fun day at the Apple Blossom festival yesterday with the kids! They had SO much fun in the kids area and park areas. Going back for the carnival side and more bomb food from @jesplantbased today! (I eat meat, it's just good food- bonus that it's good for you!) 🍏🍎🌸🎡🎢🎠🍽 I did Lily's first French braids yesterday! Braiding on a toddler is always like trying to hit a moving target, but we got it done and she was so happy! 🥰 Went to the Petaluma Butter and Eggs day parade, then to a carnival in Santa Rosa with my sisters and nieces last weekend. It was a fun day with my very favorite folks! 🧈🥚🌈 🎪🎡🎠🎢 Flashback from this date two years ago when Annika took this photo of me nursing Julian. He nursed full term until after he was 2, almost 3, and Lily still nurses at 2, too. It's a privilege to be able to have a body thar provides milk and to have the availability to nurse on demand, which allowed us to skip pacifiers and bottles completely. I do get touched out, but I'm grateful every day to be able to have (had) this relationship with them. (❤️)(❤️) When you have toddlers, but also teens. 😅🤦🏼‍♀️
